Besides our swimming pools and basketball/shuffle board courts, there are tons of local recreation activities that are sure to be a hit with all ages. Adrenaline lovers can go whitewater rafting or rock climbing at one of many local adventure tourism outposts, while nature enthusiasts can check out many of the nearby attractions such as Garden of the Gods or the Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museums. The spectacular US Olympic Training Center is as much a tourist attraction as it is a fitness facility. Free daily public tours include a 12-minute film and a 45-minute walking tour, and you can visit without reservations every day except Sundays. Don't pack up a lot of equipment, though; workouts are restricted to Olympic athletes only. But don't worry, our surprisingly temperate climate allows for non-Olympic recreation at many natural outdoor attractions, including golf 12 months of the year. The Valley Hi Golf Course is only 4 miles from the hotel and the Broadmoor Golf Course is only 3 miles away.
