Smaller than France and larger than California, Spain is replete with impressive mountain ranges and high plateaus, which provide a source for major rivers such as the Ebro, Tagus and Guadalquivir. To the west, the country shares a border with Portugal, whilst to the north, the Pyrenees separate Spain and France. On the African continent, borders are also shared with Morocco through the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, which remain Spanish territory. Apart from many uninhabited islands in the straits of Gibraltar, including Perejil, the Kingdom rules over larger islands such as the Balearics in the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Rock of Gibraltar - Whale & Dolphin Watching Trips
Gibraltar is located towards the southern coast of Spain and it offers amazing range of activities and an opportunity to watch dolphins, semi-wild apes and whales. People can indulge in activities such as shopping and windsurfing or spend time quietly over the great beach and enjoy incredible views. The place is actually connected to Spain but has remained a British territory since a very long time ago. This means that one needs a passport to visit this place. Gibraltar was made due to protrusion of an enormous limestone catering to the best and most incredible views that one can ever have across the sea to towards Africa. The height of the rock is about 412 m that corresponds to 1400 ft.² above sea level. To reach the top of this rock you do not have to indulge in trekking or climbing.
